How do I find my agent’s phone number?
You may locate your agent’s phone number on the upper right section of your declarations page.
Can I pay with a credit/debit card?
At this time UPCIC does not directly accept payments via credit or debit card. Your agent may have the ability to accept a credit card payment on your behalf. Please contact them directly for further assistance.
What forms of payment are accepted by Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company?
UPCIC accepts ACH Payments via phone or online using the routing and account number from your US Based Checking or Savings account. We accept checks and certified funds mailed in – See below for company mailing address. We are an electronic recipient for online bill payment providers, and we are currently listed as “Universal Property Casualty INS”.
Can I schedule payment for a future date?
At this time UPCIC does not offer the option to schedule payments through our website for a future date. Many banks allow payments to be scheduled in advance through online bill pay. Please contact your bank directly for further assistance.
When is an online/phone payment credited to an insurance policy?
Payment is credited as of the date payment was submitted, using your routing & checking account number.
How long does it take for an electronic payment to be withdrawn from my checking account?
Payments are generally withdrawn from your checking account within 2 business days of the date completed over the phone or online. If funds have not been withdrawn within 5 business days, please contact our Customer Service Department to review your policy.
I don’t know who my claims adjuster is. How can I obtain information about my claim?
Inquiries regarding an existing claim may be sent to claimshelp@universalproperty.com. Please include your claim number in the subject line to assist with the review.
How do I get a quote for a new insurance policy?
You may visit www.universalproperty.com. Under Products & Services select Get a Quote and enter the information requested. Please allow 24 business hours for a reply.

Alternatively if you would prefer a local agent, access www.universalproperty.com. Under Products & Services, select Find an Agent, enter your zip code, and select Go.

A list of agents within your specified distance will appear.

Please select an agent and contact them for a quote.
I need to make changes to my policy. Who should I contact? (For example – mailing address, name or contact change, coverage, cancellation, adding or removing an insured or mortgagee)
Please contact your agent for assistance with these changes. For your convenience, your agent’s name and phone number are listed on the upper right section of your declarations page.
How do I Register for an online account?
Please visit www.universalproperty.com. On the top of the page, under Customers, select Login.

Please enter your email and password as directed, then select Register.

Within a few moments you will receive an email link to activate your account from donotreply@universalproperty.com. Please click the email link to activate account.

Next please visit www.universalproperty.com. On the top of the page, under Customers, select Login.

Once you have logged in, select Subscribe to a Policy, which is found under My Policies listed on the sidebar.
How do I change my email address listed for my online account?
Please visit www.universalproperty.com. On the top of the page, under Customers, select Login.

Once you have logged in, select Change Username (your email address), which is found under Account Settings listed on the sidebar.

Please enter your new email and password as directed, then select Next. Please note, you will receive a new activation link via email.
Can I access my policy documents online?
Yes.

Please login to your web account on www.universalproperty.com.

Once you have logged in, select My Mailings and locate the document in question based on document description.

If your policy was recently issued, please contact your agent as they have the ability to email you an electronic copy.
I want to go green, how can I receive only email notifications?
Please login to your web account on www.universalproperty.com.

Once you have logged in, select Account Settings listed on the sidebar.

Under Email Notifications, click Yes.

If you no longer would like to receive Conventional Mail, click No.
How do I reset my password?
Please visit www.universalproperty.com. Under Customers select login. You will then select Reset Password and enter your registered email address.

Within a few moments you will receive an email link to reset your password from donotreply@universalproperty.com.
